SpeedBox 2.0 Tuning Chip for Yamaha PW (up to 2018)

SpeedBox 2.0 for Yamaha is a tuning chip for e-bikes with Yamaha PW motors produced up to 2018. Once activated, motor assistance continues up to 50 km/h.

The e-bike display keeps showing real data such as maximum and average speed, daily distance and range (in km/h only). Tuning is controlled with the LIGHT button or an up-down-up-down button sequence. This version does not connect to the SpeedBox Connect app.

How to Use

1. On a new bike, ride at least 1 km before activating the chip.
2. Press the LIGHT button to activate. The display briefly shows 5.0 km/h and assistance now continues up to 50 km/h.
3. Press the LIGHT button again to deactivate. The display shows 2.5 km/h and the limit returns to 25 km/h.
4. To control SpeedBox separately from the lights, use the ???? button sequence.

Good to Know

• Before updating the e-bike's software, uninstall SpeedBox, complete the update, then reinstall it. Updating firmware with the chip fitted can make the chip inoperable.

This tuning chip changes the e-bike's factory speed limit and assistance settings. A modified e-bike may not be legal to ride on public roads, cycle paths or other public areas; SpeedBox products are intended for use on private property, at the rider's own risk. Installation may void the e-bike manufacturer's warranty. Installation by a qualified technician is recommended. Always wear appropriate protective gear.
