The parts are size-matched to fit the slightly longer frame with 170mm 2-piece alloy cranks and instead of the narrower "Mini" sized wheels and tires of the smaller bikes in the lineup, the Expert XL features 20 X 1.5" alloy rims with a 1.65" front and 1.5" rear tire for more surface contact to put the power to the ground.
