The Marin DSX is everything you want from a modern, flat-bar gravel bike. Zippy aluminum frame, compliant fork, heaps of tire clearance, low standover, dropper post compatibility and a whole load of options for bags and fenders. Taking inspiration from the Gestalt X drop bar line, Marin made the DSX to feel like an MTB but still cut it on all of those adventures that would normally demand curly bars. Perfect for racking up road miles, daily grinds to work, multi-day epics and flowy singletrack, the DSX is the perfect modern gravel bike for riders that prefer their bars flat.
Hopping up to a higher-spec Series 3 aluminum frame, the Marin DSX 1 has a whole heap of upgrades over the base spec version. Bolt-thru axles add stiffness and a carbon fork drops the weight and adds even more mounting points for bikepacking bags. There’s also an 1 x 11-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, WTB Riddler tires, Tektro hydraulic brakes and plenty of reliable Marin components.
